Concept
High-level breakdown

CS Perp at its core is a very simple concept, in the same way most perp DEXes work like Hyperliquid or Lighter, CS Perp allows users to long or short CS2 instruments by fetching prices via data aggregation of multiple CS2 skin price sites then computing a weighted median to prevent single source manipulation risks.
CS2 Market
As a basic primer for those without any previous experience with CS skins and to dumb it down to crypto terms, these are basically just better NFTs with an actual use case in-game and are tradable, ownable assets that every Steam account can have.

As of recently, the CS2 total market cap has reached about 5 billion dollars despite several challenges with regulatory trade restrictions from Valve (the developers of Steam and thus owners of its marketplace). This is a market sector that's heavily untapped and also quite durable over many years considering the first skins update came out in 2013 and skins are increasingly relevant year over year.

Crypto <> Skins Overlap
There is a massive amount of overlap between crypto traders/holders and skin collectors and even the nature of skin prices and crypto have slightly mirrored each other in terms of returns. The main goal for CS Perp is to bridge these two communities using one cohesive app that takes aspects of each side and pair it with one of the greatest casinos ever invented; the perpetual swap.
